A talented young Second Life user, Katherine Berry (15) has recently released the alpha version of her AjaxLife – a tool that allows Second Life residents to log in to the world via a web browser. The application sacrifices the graphical components of the world but allows chat, IM and mapping functions. The tool has captured the imagination of many users and has been the focus of a lot of interest and commentary across the “blogosphere”.
